9 Months

It's about time to write my 10 month letter to Addie (ohmygoshdoubledigitmonths), but I thought first I would share the little mini photo shoot we did a couple of weeks ago. I dropped the ball on a 6 month shoot, soooooo 9 months it is.

The facial expressions are ENDLESS.

Alwaaaaaays watching. Dad, brother, doggies.... She does not want to miss a thing.

If I ever photograph your babies, I promise I will not give them an electric toothbrush to pacify them.

But it is one of her favorite things.

Next shoot, 12 months. Heaven help me this goes too fast.

Mary Elizabeth | Fort Worth Newborn Photography

This was such a sweet newborn session. It was dreary and rainy outside, and we were all a little over it, but the hours I spent with this family more than made up for the weather. It smelled like fresh baked cinnamon rolls in their home, first of all. Weird observation, I know, but I am such a sucker for nice smells, and it made their home SO COZY. And little Mary Elizabeth is so obviously adored by her parents that it wasn't hard to spend the morning just following them around, capturing them in their environment as they got to know every inch of their precious new baby girl.

You will notice that I got their fur baby on camera quite a bit…just couldn't help myself. Dad is a vet, and he must have a special touch when it comes to picking out pets, because this may have been the sweetest dog I have ever come across. He was so curious about the new baby, and so gentle. He didn't ever leave his family's side. I would love to watch his and Mary Elizabeth's relationship and she gets older! I imagine it will be very special :)
