Charlie | Fort Worth Newborn Photography

Maybe it's because my daughter never attached to any.thing. as a baby, but I have a bit of a soft spot in my heart (and trigger finger with my camera) when I come across a baby that loves their paci/lovey/blankie, etc. I just can't get enough of the tiny little hands grasping on; the soothing and calming influence that these tangible items visibly have on these precious babies as they navigate these days and weeks and months outside of their 9-month home in that warm womb. If I am photographing a baby that has these attachments, I try to get a good amount of pictures of them with and without said item...these kinds of things don't bother me during sessions. If this is why your baby loves, that is what I want to photograph and preserve for my clients.

Charlie was only days old, but he was incredibly adept at holding his paci in with his fists, and it was pure sweetness. We let loose and even let him have the wubbanub at the end of the session and oh, man....

S Family | DFW Baby Photography

I'm hopeful that these photos do them justice, but this is one of the nicest, most laid-back, easy going families that I have had the privilege of photographing. Mom is a photographer herself, and because I didn't know the area, she was totally fine shooting in their back yard, and in the field behind her house, and I adore that kind of carefree approach. It was just a super casual, capture-their-love kind of shoot, and it was perfect.
